Performance dashboards create new opportunities for faster and better decision making by providing easy-to-understand insights. Like in a car, behind the dashboard, there’s a powerful data engine that propels the vehicle. Until now, getting your data engine to perform has required advanced analysis and deep analytical skills, often requiring specialized teams and large investments. This video demonstrates how new, simplified, business analytics tools can be combined with dashboards to put you in full control of your facility’s data machines — without becoming a computer scientist!
Presenters: Mike Saunders, Senior Lead Innovation Technologist, Emerson
Ani Jayanth, Director, Product Marketing — Food Retail and Plants & Labs Refrigeration, Emerson
Today’s supermarket operators have a wide variety of refrigeration architectures from which to choose. Refrigerant regulations, sustainability objectives, and the desire to reduce energy consumption are driving many operators to forgo traditional refrigeration systems in favor of emerging architectures. The presenters review several system architectures being utilized in supermarkets — from tried-and-true, HFC-based centralized and distributed direct expansion systems to CO2 booster, secondary and cascade systems. You will learn the pros and cons of each system, evaluating capacity, performance, serviceability, environmental impacts and equipment costs. The video also explores how these options have evolved in response to industry drivers and led to the increasing adoption of CO2 architectures in food retail markets.
Presenters: John Wallace, Director — Innovation, Retail Solutions, Emerson
